Joey Nizuk – Founder / UX Engineer & Product Developer
Joey is a seasoned UX/UI Designer and Developer with 15 years of experience. His career began in the early 2000s as a high school hobbyist, designing websites and coding with HTML/CSS. He entered college in 2007 as a Computer Science major, learning how to create professional and clean code. He eventually shifted his academic focus to Political Science and Philosophy with the intention of pursuing a career in law. After taking the LSATs and being accepted into a law program, he decided to take a gap year after undergrad in 2011 to work and save money. He took a position as a junior web developer for a prominent retail company and was later presented with an opportunity to join a funded health tech startup. Embracing the chance to work on an innovative product, he chose to fully commit to a career in web development and UX/UI design. Read more about Joey on his personal site.
